Seriously that guy must of had some tramatic experience with an arcade game. And it was pretty damn obvious that GTA was gonna be pounced on within seconds of release. And we aint seen the worst of it yet.

Should be rated on whether you can handle a game or not. Killing games don't bother me at all.

This game needs HD, methinks. Looks very muddy on an old 32" Sony TV. Ah well, was getting one soon anyway.

First impressions? It's GTA.

Second impressions? Wonder how long it will take to tweak the controller settings so that it works like the previous 3...

It's a video game. It's not real. It is up to the parents to stop their kids from playing the game if they want. For the rest of us who enjoy gaming.. it's GTA for pete's sake.

With that said, i'm quite disappointed that rock star didn't put the game out on the PC with the consoles. I find that absolutely ridiculous. Personally, I think it's a horrible marketing/business decision on their part by doing it this way. There are way more PC gamers out there then console gamers.

Rockstar have always done it that way (apart from GTAI and II and London). When it eventually arrives on the pc, it's a much more polished product.

But ...I found with III, VC and SA that it really yearns for a console controller. Walking is fine, but I struggle to steer cars/bikes/planes/choppers/jetpacks/hookers with the keyboard.

Yet, somehow people have this delusion that video games make people kill. I guess gangs and the violence they bring were inspired by GTA then. Jack Thompson can go eat a big fat dick. He's more of an attention RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO than anything else. Really hope he runs into some gangsters that blast him away.

People need to have some common sense, be able to tell right from wrong, and real from fiction. If games make you act out violence you should seek professional help. Chances are you're a crazy mental patient that should be locked away and studied.

Now that I've vented my hatred towards human idiocy, I'm going to go and play GTA4.

Actually, the MSN website has a pretty good article on the game and states expected sales of 9 million in the first few months with up to 13 million copies sold by end of year...
